Prayer of Reassurance: God is for You!

“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.” (Ephesians 6:10 NIV)

Dear God,

Thank you for always being for me.

During times when I don’t “feel” your presence, thank you for being an ever present help in times of trouble.

Thank you for reminding me that if You are for me, who can be against me?(Romans 8:31)

As I continue to move forward in the purposes that You have for me, thank you for leading and guiding me each day.

When opposition or difficulties come, may I seek Your word for strength, restoration, and reassurance.

Thank you for always being for me and having my best interest at heart.

In Jesus’ name,

Amen

Scriptures to Reassure that God is for You

  1. “What, then shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31)
  2. “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:7)
  3. “The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” (Deuteronomy 31:8)

Question for YOU: Can you share an example of how God is showing up for you in this season? Please share in the comments. Let’s celebrate together!

God is on the Move

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid, do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9 NIV)

Summertime is almost here and the excitement of warmer weather, outdoor activities, and vacation travel is extremely appealing after the many limitations of the last year and a half. Reconnecting with family and friends who we haven’t seen in a long time is highly anticipated! Recently, I reconnected with my family after not seeing them since before the pandemic, and spent some amazing quality time together. We now must learn how to re-enter society with vigor, but also remain cautious. As we move forward with both the small and big changes, God has already prepared the way.

God Is With You

With each new season and transition in your life, one thing remains constant: God is with you. God is on the move and going before you, covering, protecting and leading you forward. You may not have all the answers or understand the direction He is leading you, but God assures you that He will be with you wherever you go. Today, I invite you to trust God’s guidance as He moves on your behalf and leads you each day. When fear, doubt, and anxiety come, surrender them to God and lean on God’s promises of His Word.

Our Family is Moving!

My husband, daughter and I are in the middle of packing right now and are moving from Maryland to West Virginia next week! While it’s an exciting time because my husband will be pastoring a new church and we have a new ministry assignment, everything is brand new. We will be moving to a new home, new city, and leaving the comfort and familiarity of our home for the last 13 years. However, we are standing on Joshua 1:9, and know that God has already prepared the way and will continue to provide for all of our needs. Please keep us in your prayers as we start this new adventure!

Question: How is God moving in your life? I would love to hear from you! Write in the comments below how God is moving in your life during this season. I would love to pray for you!

Announcements

  1. With the move, I will be taking the next month off from blogging as we get settled. I will return in mid-July with exciting new content!
  2. I’ve written my first devotional to be released in August! Merciful Moments: A Devotional Journal to Move Forward with Grace Each Day! More details to come very soon!

Have a wonderful rest of the week!

Strength for the Weary

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13 NIV

As we are entering the last couple of months of 2020, how are you feeling? From an ongoing global pandemic, natural disasters, presidential election, and learning how to adjust to our new normal, we are all trying to catch our breath. Navigating virtual education, state safety restrictions and finding creative ways to stay connected with family and friends is exhausting at times.

While you may feel weary, do not lose hope. Be reminded that God is with you and will guide you every step of the way.

Surrender your weary soul to God and let God restore you.

With every new adjustment, let God strengthen and sustain you.

Prayer: Dear God, thank you for being the source of my strength when I am weary. When life seems overwhelming, I seek Your peace and wisdom. Thank you for your consistent presence in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Action Question: What is one area that you will seek God’s strength where you are weary?
